- Wet , cold horrible weather? – the benefit of Rushall is that it offers a number of buildings, some heated , that we can sleep in & use during the day – so rain or shine - we’ll have a great time; anyway, at the moment the forecast is good for the weekend !
- Make sure you have a good tea (for those coming Friday) and a good breakfast (those arriving Saturday) before you leave home.
- Give a shout if transport is an issue we may be able to lay on something.
- Heavy duty gardening gloves; and a Swiss army style pen knife (over 11s only) for cutting down those ferns.
- Any dry wood you may have- the boys will be cooking their rabbits on a spit over an open fire, and if we don’t have enough dry wood , they’ll either get hungry or food poisoning.
- An old frying pan you have that you may not mind if if doesn’t get returned – or returned in a mess.
- Likewise – tea towels
- And lastly and most importantly – if you don’t provide a cake, the boys won’t get any deserts over the weekend. (any boy bringing home made Bara Brith will have a good weekend).
